FunMobility this week added powerful new capabilities to its FunChat smartphone application, including new ‘play to win’ dueling games and leaderboards that ratchet up the competition among players.
The new version of FunChat includes:
- ‘Play to Win’ Dueling Games — FunChat has added two new dueling games — Mr. Poo’s Checkers and Narlii’s Score Four (pictured), a Connect Four-style game — that enable players to face off against each other in a high stakes, “winner takes all” format. Each player has the option of playing for free or putting up a small amount of FunGold to play the game. The winners takes the pot, and the loser goes home (figuratively, not literally).
- Game & Chat Leaderboards — To maintain a competitive edge among players, FunChat now includes leaderboards for many of its activities, starting with games. Players can now see the Top 15 scores for any FunChat game for that week, all-time, or just among their friends. Very soon, users will be able to get leaderboards for other cool categories as well, including: Biggest Chatterbox – the person who sends the most messages; Most SmashGrams – the person who creates and send the most Smashgrams; Biggest Winner– the player with the most loot (FunGold); Most Achievements – the person with the most achievements; and Most Popular – the person with the most friends.
- Full Screen Games — FunChat dramatically increased its game-screen size to allow for better play. Instead of playing on half a screen, users can now play their favorite FunChat game in full-screen mode.
